fittings look fine not sure about the trade mark looks a bit "chippy" for want of a better word

My first impression of your dagger was that it was buffed or polished sometime in it, s history (the blade)

Original dagger Alex.
E.W. marked guards are very common at the 121's and the blade shows one of the two known motto patterns.

Good one. Don't bother witch "chippy|" etching. They appear sometimes in this manner.
