    Good Evening

    I wonder if you could help me I have a SS dagger RZM120/34 with the Schutzstaffel Numbers 22703 on the crossguard. Can anyone you identify the owner.

        Thanks for the speedy response to my thread from Mac and the Red Barron. I wiil now go and see if I can find out any more about ss -Obersturmbannfuhrer Alfred Buchs and his history.

            Guys, I think I used to own his sword, I regret selling that one! It had his SS number and name engraved on the pommel if a recall correctly. Anyone got it?

              DoB 11 July 1908 Münster /Westfalen

              Between 1933 & 1934 Untersturmführer 82. SS Standarte

              72. SS Standarte Minden or Detmold in Westfalen 1936 and 37 Sturmbannführer
              of the III. Sturmbann (III/72)


              He is also listed as one of the Commanders of the 25.SS Standarte "Ruhr"
              ( Essen)
              Rank: Sturmbannführer 1. Oct. 1937---1943
