Info on WWII-era blades needed - please help

    The no 5 S84/98 is already sharpened on blade, so damaged probably, most real 42/3? asw stamped, and scabbard has no proper black paint.Should be matched together.

      So, sharpened = damaged?



      As far as anything not being matched, you will have to talk to my great-uncle, as he is the one that got these while in Germany. Of course, he has since passed, so I am just taking them as they are.

          To answer your question about sharpening, sharpening is regarded as damage and lowers value.
