Jonathan. An SS-M36 with variation detailing not often encountered; a very desireable dagger for the specialist SS collector. My first one of these types came to me in 1976 from a UK veteran. Have seen very few since.
I am sorry to read of your troubles with this inexperienced buyer. Best advice to him is to seek advice from forum, before jumping in feet first. I personally do not believe that this collector to collector deal should be reversed, this SS dagger is a cracker and fairly priced imo.

Thanks, I actually think he is nervous and just wants to be certain it is authentic. Maybe now that the likes of Barry Brown have also contributed he will accept it is real. We will see...I'm beginning to wonder whether I should have kept it in my collection now
