    Heer Dagger - very rare maker

    Tom Wittman's Army Dagger book indicates that this is a very rarely found maker's mark on a Heer dagger (I've been collecting since the late 70's and Herve never seen one before). The dagger has never been cleaned. Any and all comments are welcomed.

            Schlange, I agree. It's not a generic A type scabbard. As you noticed, the throat screw in not on the back but on the side of the scabbard but that's how it came back.
