    NSKK Chained

I was offered this today. I have a pretty nice example already, but this one looks pretty damn fine. I looked....said to myself "No. You've got one already", walked away....thought about it...said "NO!!" To myself several times....went back and hit the 'buy' button. This hobby should be classified as some sort of compulsive disorder..

Eickhorn Chained NSKK. All period paint. Dual marked Transitional with rzm 7/66 & the l Eick squirrel. 1939 dated as well.

WOW; i saw this one just a day ago and considered it myself despite that nothing in my cabinet doesn't have a TK or SS on it!

I don't recognize the dagger but the photography is a dead give away to the owner.

The dagger is amazing as are most of his daggers.

To date, there are only 3 known manufacturers that were producing these Chained NSKK hardware and this is the nicest one of them all.
It is much rarer than the common Assmann RZM marked chained, it has better details and far more better plating, almost look like if it were silver plated, very nice indeed.
It is quite unusual to see an Eickhorn blade RZM blade being matched with such a chained configuration as most were meant to be used as field upgrades.

A gem and a keeper for sure.
