    Unmarked SS daggers

    Hi members
    i have the opportunity to buy an SS dagger
    The price is very low
    but the dagger is really strange
    No markings at all ,it looks old ,looks original but no motto no maker
    nothing at all
    i really need your help !
    it could be my first SS dagger and i don't want to make any mistakes
    here are the pictures
    what would be the value of this dagger ?

    Hi,
    Value would be low... In this condition..
    Not a desirable piece for a collector..
    If somebody need parts this is it..
    Couple of hundred dollars max..

      IMO this piece is most likely a parts dagger to begin with, so I would advise you to happily leave it where you found it. The grip does not appear to correctly fit the crossguards and the blade may be a total fabrication. Since I never encourage anyone to become involved with "replacement parts" for any dagger, I would not consider this piece even for that purpose. "Original and genuine" is the only way to go, IMO!
