I wanted share with you a beautiful numbered SS ground Rohm Boker I just acquired. It had been promised to me by a close friend for several years. The dagger was pulled out of the weeds over 40 years ago in Ohio, and has resided in the same collection ever since.
The cross graining runs the full length of the blade. Note the deep Boker motto on the blade. A lot of lacquer still remains on the scabbard. What is really neat is the SS serial number is stamped in the wood handle, not one the lower cross guard. I contacted Ross and he has a member listed just two digits away, but unfortunately this number is not in his data base. The number dates from around late October '31.
