It´s defiinitively an Kampfmesser of the Wehrmacht-Luftwaffe.
Sheath looks also OK, maybe, overpainted ?

Maybe the grip plates are overworked also ... ?

It seems, the blade is also overworked, it looks shortened, and, slurred, actually ...

It´s a original knife but I´ll agree on that someone have messed with the blade.

                acceptance stamp of the Wehrmacht-Luftwaffe

                Thx. for showing !

Such knives were used in Wehrmacht-Luftwaffe units, (for example, in Luftwaffen Felddivisionen).

You find such pattern knives, marked with the "eagle 5", or, the "eagle 6" punch.
They´re provided for use in the Wehrmacht-Luftwaffe.

But, the Kampfmesser der Wehrmacht-Luftwaffe was, as far as I know, also issued to the Wehrmacht-Heer.

You also can find the Kampfmesser of the Wehrmacht-Luftwaffe, stamped with "W", or, "S", upon the blade.
                There´re also unmarked knives.

                Best regards,
                R.
