      Beautiful damascus blade with unique offizier-verein stamp
      Unfortunately someone had tried to disassemble it unprofessionally.
      Zweispitz is a nice addition to your sword. Judging by the button this hat comes from the TR period.

                  Good scoop regardless....don't forget to offer the seller an extra hundred if they find the other part....likely impossible to find....I have had the same period sword, but never in demascus...you never know, you may find it someday.(on that day you should buy a lottery ticket) Now you just need to do your homework on the owner, and see what he was in on....the scabbard may have been engraved or have had a presentation on it.
