Pictured below is a TENO hewer by Eichorn... currently in the possession of friend of mine. He often comes across all sorts of knives and swords he consigns for people and has an excellent knowledge of all sorts of edged weapons and cutlery but has no idea however what to ask for the TENO; whether I'm the buyer (and I might be), or it ends up being someone else. German dags are not something he comes across regularly so he emailed me some pix, and ask what I thought of the piece.
I told him I believe the hewer to be genuine and original; however I've not seen one of these for sale for a LONG time thus couldn't help with pricing. I told him I'd post some pics here and ask you good folk if you concur with my thoughts on authenticity, and what you think/know these have sold for of late; both on the buy and sell side. Or even if you can remember what one has sold for some time past.
