While the first photo's a little fuzzy, it looks like a standard double proofed mark to me. While seen much less than the single proofed, it's not ultra rare.Ignored Due To Invisibility.Comment

These are also sought after by disreputable dagger dealers to put into chained SA daggers. The commonly accepted maker of chained SA is Eickhorn with the transitional mark. Legend has it that in the early days of collecting the Eickhorns were pulled out in favor of nicer blades to put in the scabbards or perhaps even switched during WW2. But when it was later determined that Eickhorn was "the" manufacturer, these were used to make them "right" again. Correct me if I am wrong Skipper.Alitur vitium vivitque tegendoComment
