NSKK dagger

Indeed a nice looking dagger. Is the grip nice and tight? In pic 2 and 4 it looks a little off from the cross guard. It may just be the picture or my weak eyes.

It's all as tight as can be. No screws have been turned, nothing. The black scabbard seems correct. The paint is real hard baked on, it is no way painted/sprayed etc. Just lovely.
The owner took it from germany shortly after the war, when he was working on some sort of research of the deathcamps. After briefly returning to the US in the early 50's he left for a life abroad, and this has been stored away since then. This is just how I like to aquire stuff!
