Can someone help me answering a question about my NSFK Fliegermesser?
( stamping on the scabbard)
The NSFK was a para-military organization formed in April 1937 right?
but the dagger has a carl eickhorn marks 1934-1935 on the blade, is it normal?

The forerunner of the NSFK was the DLV so I would suspect the dagger was originally made for the DLV (based on the earlier maker's mark) but issued after the NSFK came into being with the appropriate NSFK stamping on the scabbard throat. The daggers produced specifically for the NSFK have a blue painted crackle finish scabbard and dagger handle whereas the DLV's are blue leather covered.

Isn't that only true of Helbig knives which have the ersatz "crackle" finish?

Manalishi: You are right. Only those made by Helbig are the aluminum types with the crackle finish. Those made by other makers were made of nickel silver, at first for the DLV and then for the NSFK. This daggers appears to have been made for a member of the DLV who later transferred to the NSFK.
