What does this mark means on a Horster police dagger ?

Eric,

The L stands for Landjagerei (or rural constabulary), the Ka was the city code for Kassel & the 14 was an inventory number, as in bayonet #14. Is the scabbard leather brown? Does the bayonet crossguard also have matching numbers?
