    Which DLV dagger to keep?

I posted this in the Luftwaffe Flying Corps forum, but I thought I would ask this group as well.

I have three DLV daggers; a Helbig, a Gebr. Heller, and a Weyersberg. They are all more or less in the same good condition. The Weyersberg has a lightly pitted and buffed blade, but it has the name of the owner (Eugene Mueller) etched into it. So that dagger has a plus and a minus, as you can see in the attached photograph.

I don't know which maker is more rare or desirable. I am only going to keep one of three. Which one do you suggest?

An owner's personalization is certainly a scarce thing to see on a DLV. The Weyersberg mark is also not common at all, both details making this dagger desirable to collectors. That said, the blade condition looks not that great at all. Do you have pics of the others?

      Yep

Here are the other two. FYI, I had to light enhancement the photogrpahs so that you can see better detail.

For me it would be the balloon man,I love that maker's mark and patina but I wouldn't throw any of them away!!
What sort of world is it where some have three of these and others have none. Thanks for showing these.

I would keep the 2nd two shown and move the engraved one along.

I have to agree that the Helbig is not very pretty. The other two are both nice looking but If you are only going to keep one I recommend that you keep the Weyersberg and sell the Heller to me

              KEEP THE HELLER!!!

I'd keep the "Baloon man". BTW, the owner name looks more like Eugen Mürne or Mürner.
