It is original, but why you would want something with broken parts so you can never add the chain.

Strange, I have never seen one with the ring mounts removed before. Looks original though (looks to be early nickle based fittings), minus it's grip wire and blade buffer of coarse...Kevin.

Hi Peter, if very cheap its worth buying but would be very hard to re-sell imo

I can see your points and agree that the damage would make it difficult to sell on. I think that it is probably best left.
