Right side up photos are easier to study. It is not a fantasy, but pretends to be an Eickhorn Government Officials dagger.
This dagger has some problems though. To start with, that is not an Eickhorn guard.Last edited by wolfeknives; 08-19-2011, 08:59 PM. -

The dagger looks good to me. Normally you see them made by Alcoso but to find an Eickhorn is a little harder.Comment

The grip ferrule is also not made by Eickhorn. I looks much more like the Alcoso pattern.

The scabbard is also an Alcoso product. Insert sleeves in the ring retention ports and two flat head side screws retaining the throat are typical of Alcoso Go/Diplo scabbards. Overall it appears that an Eickhorn blade has been subsituted for this dagger's Alcoso blade, imo.Comment

Diplos are only known by Alcoso.Go's by Eickhorn are well known.Comment
