Need opinions on this 120/34 SS Dagger...

    Hi all,

Found another SS dagger that I'm hopeful is a good one. I'd like to get some opinions from the experts... does anything about it raise any red flags with anyone?

    Thanks!

I especially like the Pack style scabbard fittings.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I see a lot of 120/34s out there on the web with some degree of interest about them. Are the 120/34s more desirable than others? If so, what makes them more desirable?

            Thanks!

They are just a nice early nickel SS 33, and made with the same quality as the maker marked pieces.

Looks nice, early quality. Collector's like the sexy maker marks is the only thing that holds back the 120's.

It appears some of the darkening on the blade looks like dried Cosmoline. Once dried, it can stain a blade, do not recommend leaving on there any longer.

Nice daggers! I agree with JR, the early RZM nickel SS daggers are super nice, and more affordable, I have several in my collection and really enjoy them!

Being one of the most popular of the early SS daggers (at least from my experience, I've owned/handled a lot of them), they are not more desirable, people just like them because of good early quality. I see them the same as all maker marked ones. No collection of early SS daggers will be complete without good old 120 and 121.

I´m not collecting III. Reich honour daggers, but, the "Roman I", stamped upon the lower crossguard together with an RZM marked blade ? ...

Also the material of the crossguard, (lower and upper Knebel), IMO does´nt compare to the crossguard of an RZM piece ! ...

                            I assume, this is an parts-dagger ...
