views on dress bayonet

hi lads, do you think this bayonet is what it seems, postal??
no maker, wooden simulated stag grip, no numbers under d.r.p
came from a private house sale, all opinions are welcome,

I've never seen a stag or ersatz stag Postschutz bayonet. Taking this piece on it's own merits, I don't like the stampings myself so I'd venture this is a late war wood grip bayonet that someone tarted up to embellish it's appeal.

I agree with Billy... the stamping looks odd to me. And, the wood/stag grips make it worse.
