Yeah I know, Already have some, buying some more here soon, But look at it this way, if I get her used to seeing me buy another dagger and then buy some more militaria, she might think that one goes with the other,as natural as a baby make's a woman act really weird when they pick them up, if you follow my drift, fortunatly she does not pay much attention to what I do anyways.

Good plan. I just watch my wife roll her eyes and sigh when I am getting all excited about some new article to add to my collection. I always remember the gun writer who had a display of fine side by side shotguns and kept two empty brackets on the wall. Everytime he would buy another shotgun he would add a new bracket and tell his wife, "No, I didn't buy another gun! Look! See, still two empty brackets"

Just a tip on keeping stuff from sliding around in the case. I used to use velvet as the cover material but everytime I moved the cases around, much of the smaller items would shift. One of my friends told me to try auto headliner material. It can be found at any trim shop and comes in every color imagineable. It's basically a piece of soft cloth with a foam backing. I ended up going to my local hobby store and found rome very soft foam that I cut to the basic size of the case. Overlay that with the headliner material and tuck it in around the edges. If you use soft enough foam, you can place a medal right next to a dagger and both will stay in place when handled.

            Maybe one more Heer

Hi Oleg, That was a finger factor I was wondering what you were using to attach and hang your daggers to the display board.

Laurence, the small eagle is just an army lapel pin. The pin itself is stuck in the foam.
