    So,this is 500$ sword? I would buy this specimen anyday on that price.

    Please show us one shop in Europe,who sells same condition sword on that price.Or private persons...

        Guys, it's not about $500 or $750 or whatever. I never say the dagger or sword is worthless because the condition is poor. It has always value to someone, at least as a "parts donor". This discussion clearly shows that there are 2 types of collectors with 2 opposite attitudes. One type is "big cash for top condition" and the other is "collecting original items, no matter what condition". Myself I'm more like the first type, but I understand the other type of collectors as well. There are people passionate with battlefield relics and there are people into "mint" stuf.
        To each his own.
