Opinions on K98 Bayonet Please

Please give me your opinions on this bayonet, frog and scabbard. No discernable markings on the frog.

Unless I'm missing something I'd say it's a very nice S84/98.

That's the first time I've ever seen such a frog. Why not the hour glass shape?

Not particularly common it was designed to go with the folding shovel. Which itself was a limited issue item that is seen in some period photos with specialized formations. FP
