Dress Bayonet question?

At a recent gun show that I attended I saw a dress bayonet with a wooden handle. To my knowledge I don't think they ever made anything like this. Normally when I see things like this, I just assume it was done post war. I have seen clear plastic type grips on Japanese bayonets. Any thoughts?
