Kriegsmarine dagger from the veterans widow!

Today I have bought this kriegsmarine dagger directly from the veterans widow.
I´m very happy that I have got it. Please have a look if everything is ok and let me know your opinions to this dagger
On the blade is conservation fat therefore it looks not so nice on the pics but it is in perfect condition
What about this blue belt?

Did you get the vets name? If he was an officer he could be researched. Also I would try to get a pic of him in uniform and also ask the widow to sign a letter saying that it was her husbands.

I have also the KM M40 helmet, the visor caps, oversea caps and more from this man.
The widow told me that he was at last on the ship "Kreuzer Emden"
She is still searching documents, photos and medals. Everything must be still there.

The belt is the blue webbed type for wear under the dress tunic. The dagger is a WKC product.

The Hildebrand/Lohmann book is not 100% inclusive and he is not listed in it. The WAST in Berlin has the KM personal records. She could write to them and get a copy.
