              Ron,

How were the daggers mounted on the board? A beautiful looking collection of someone who clearly had a dagger passion.

The daggers and hangers had small brads through the rings and on the lower edge of the hanging side (nicely done no damage) and the hangers had brads through the belt loop or slot. The best collection for completeness of dagger with accoutrements that I have seen for foreigh pupet state pieces. Years of work and it did not come cheap, as you can imagine. With the influx of modern repros currently on the market place, its nice to find an old collection that has been in existance for many years and many were veteran purchased in Europe many years ago (30 in most cases).

In the German Daggers: One SA Marine M33 and a neat NSKK with a blued scabbard in nice condition. Both unusual and rare.
