SS Dagger Question

Hi all

This is one of my first posts, and a pleasure to be able to have the chance to chat with you all.

Could someone please give me a ball park figure on what I should pay for a 33 pattern SS dagger, it looks in good order, I have only had a quick look, but if I could get a rough figure, I will then look into it further, photos etc for all to look at.

These days, about £1000 ballpark.

I will look into the dagger and also look at taking photos of it to post on the forum, for a further responce from all to make sure it is a good one and not one of those repos.

Robin's figure is a good ballpark number, but the value can vary greatly based on condition and vintage (i.e., early, maker marked piece with nickel silver fittings vs. later RZM Piece with plated fittings). On the early dagegrs, the maker can have an effect as well, with C. Bertram Reinh at teh top of the scale.
