just got in from a long saturday. very pleased to see everyones response and info on these daggers. id like to thank you all for the comments. i can now rest assure that these dagger is a good one now. its not my area of collecting so if anyone is looking for one id most likely list it for sale tommorow night when i grab a chance to. my area of collecting is japanese and more specific naval and naval aviatio...so this does not truely have a place to be displayed in my collection and hopefully i can pass it along to the next custodian to taske care of it.it really is a superb condition item.i never really took the time to check out these daggers up close before and i must say they really are neat. thanks again everyone for helping me out with information on this heer dagger.
