    Question about Police grip eagles

    Dear collectors,

I was wondering if you could help. I,ve noticed that some grip eagles on police bayonets apear to be the same as the ones on police nco swords. Is this a fact, or are the sizes different?

    Many thanks in forward.

    Regards,

    Marco

    Marco,

They are entirely different eagles on the bayonets and the swords.

There is a type of fire police bayonet that has a larger copper eagle usually seen on the police sword but these are with the standard KS98 hilt & are quite rare. I've seen a few standard police bayonets with the sword grip eagles & all looked to have been replaced at some time.

Thanks for your reply's so far. The copper eagles are used on police officer swords if I'm correct. The eagles on nco swords are different in appearance. These latter ones i've also seen on bayonets. As well on those with the black plastic grips as on those with horn grips.
But I don't know if the size is the same.
I would like to know because I'm looking for an eagle for a nco sword.
