    NSKOV bayonet handle device????

Hey all of you bayonet experts.<O

Came across this NSKOV emblem with a split pin attachment configuration. I've never seen this type of a pinning device before whereas the typical type on this badge is either a pin back or a stick pin

Could this emblem with this pinning device be for a NSKOV bayonet handle?<O

    Thanks and best

    John,
This is a hat pin (or should I say part of the hat emblem) for a seperate organization known as the Reichstruebund (Assoc. of faithful- former professional soldiers) it was worn within a flat veterans style wreath. Formed as an independant veterans organization in 1933, in 1936 it joined with the Reichssoldatenbund and had a membership of 160,000.
This organization remained an independant group that "cooperated" with the Reichskreigersbund after March 1938.....
(Ref. "Headgear of Hitler's Germany Vol 2" by Halcomb Smith/Saris)

Not associated directly with the NSKOV.....
