I got the sword from a vet in 1972. At that time I wasn't smart enough to ask him anything about it. All I remember now was that his name was Al and he was an Infantryman. Duh
I had an early sh*t for brains transplant that has taken years for it to reverse itself.
Perhaps unique to Puma, but it's the first I've seen with the runes engraved instead of cast into the crossguard. Very beautiful and interesting piece.
