If those comments happen to be aimed at me ... re-read what I said! I did NOT say it was an original blade .... I said it was interesting and why.

And by the way one side of this blade WAS produced on at least one piece I know of. It is one of the nicest Naval daggers in existence, its history is known, and it has been personally seen by numerous great names in this hobby.

What I generally dislike about this hobby is the lack of thought that sometimes goes into statements. The reason fakes sometimes exist IS because an original has been copied!
