wonderful navy dagger, lüneschloss, personalized+very nice blade

I know that there are some good copies of lüneschloss but imo this one is a very special and nice original dagger.

IMO I do not like the maker mark, eagle on the scabbard, and the pommel. But see what other people say.

The Swaz in the pommel is not right as well as the blade ethcing, I've always heard bad things about this engraving, MM looks a little off also...

I have seen one of these before. It is definitely a repro.

Naval Dagger

.... interesting blade this! Usually the Kiel momument blade features an etched battleship on its reverse side, not the "Sengwarden Marine Nachrichten" dedication.

By the way the date on the original well known book featured example of this dedication is not "15-01-1941." It is 25-01-1941." I still own that piece. I have located another with the "15-01-1941" dedication in the museum at the Muerwik Naval School in Flensburg. I have photos of it somewhere.
