    ok. you can not judge properly about the condition of the blade. but, seeing the makers mark, you can say that the blade is not a fake imo. the rest of the dagger is in a beautiful condition. everything seems to fit together and it is uncleaned.

                Looks like a ground Roehm. Is there a small assembler's number on the bottom of the crossguard next to the blade edge on one side?

                    Almost always means not a Ground Roehm from only Eickhorn. Also, the number is very small and a single digit.

                      Had all himmler daggers a number?

                        The reverse side of the blade doesn't shows any evidence of an ground-job.
                        IMO

                          But the Logo ( markersmark)
                          i nearly to the crossguard.?

                          I think is only on a röhm ?
                          Or is this not only on Röhmdaggers?

                              Patrick,

                              Je ne pense pas que c'est un Rohm!

                              With out a doubt a very nice dagger!

                              But what about with this Typ of Motto?

                              Did the Eickhorn firm used the 2nd etch-pattern for Rohms?

                              Any opinions regarding the motto-typ?

                              @Casey,

                              how far is the motto placed down to the lower guard?
