Chromed 84/98 Bayonet?

Hello,

I have found a 84/98 bayo with a to me stranges looking eagle on the spine,and the bayo looks to be chromed?...only the handle.. its a paul weyersberg,numbered 4066 ,scabard numbered with 346F.

Who can tell me more about this bayo?......this hobby is becoming an addiction

Jacob77, It is a German police bayonet 84/98 III.. I do not know of any combat bayonets that were nickled/ chromed by the WW2 Germans.. They had a wide selection of KS98 bayonets that were nickled/chromed to choose from.. wfg
