for the benefit of our eBay censored members:

This is a german SA dagger made by Carl* Eickhorn*Solingin* The wood and blade are in good shape with miner pitting and some scratching. The words Wes Fur Deutschland are marked on the blade. Over all the dagger and case and tassle are in good shape. This dagger was taken from a German officer. As a prize after his death in world war II and has been a prized possession of the man that took it tell his death. This dagger took the life of the German Officer that owned it. The pitting was caused from his blood which was left on the blade and removed only in the last year. I have more photos at bidder's request.

gul·li·ble adj 1: easily deceived or tricked; 2: easily tricked because of being too trusting; "gullible eBay buyers are often swindled out of their money"" [syn: fleeceable, green]

Accidentally offending people on the internet since 1997

Maybe he was a Japanese German officer and took his own life instead of being captured. That would explain the blood on the blade! More noble that way! Mike

Just for *hits and giggles, someone should email the seller and tell him sale is contingent on positive results of spraying luminol on the blade for blood What a complete crock...

I'd email him, but I jumped out of the ebay pool at the first sight of the anti-third recih pogrom a couple years back

This bs story is so typical of what I used to see on Eban 5 years ago. The unfortunate thing is it used to (and probably still does) sucker in the occasional newbie looking for a dagger with a bit of a story to it. Shows it's good to read up on what you're buying. I'm sure there are still guys who believe these things were carried into battle
