    SS dress bayonet

Hi Guys, can you tell me if this is an authentic one, it comes without the scabbard, sadly enough, and what is a common price for these bayonets ?

          post war etched

Hello a postwar etch in England made, in 60-ies, on a normal 43fze Wehrmacht piece, that was probably refinished, sharpened and etched. The costs on Ebay goes to 200-300 bucks. Only a nice piece, but not so collectable. best regards,Andy from BCN

Thanks Andy, didn't trusted it from the beginning also, you confirmed my suspicions.

These pieces are collected by a number of people as reproductions. The work on them is frequently excellent. A lot of guys like them for display, if they can get past the idea they aren't period. I agree, they look terrific even though they're from the 60s.
