Certainly not any DDR knife. The decal is west German. I am not up on currently used Bundeswehr cutlery. I would say it's a current production knife, likely available on the consumer market. Like the seller, I have not seen one before, but I am sure that is only because I have not looked for one.

Not DDR knife and not a Bundeswehr either. Design based on HJ knife, painted green with added German national colours and symbol. One of those you can buy in certain type of souvenir shops in Germany. I'm just curious if the knife is a Solingen product or "Made in China" junk.
