Hello Per,
IMHO that dagger is worth no more than a couple hundred dollars, if authentic. I feel that the value of any edged weapon is in the blade and in that condition there is little value left in the item. As you have not shown the blade tip nor full scabbard it's difficult to be more accurate.
If SA daggers are not your area and you wish to have a quick lesson in them have a look at this tutorial by Paul Hogle, a member here, in which the types are commented upon.

I hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Stu

Early daggers were stamped with a manufacturers name andcompany logo, such as Eickhorn with the trademark squirrel.
Later daggers such as this [towards the last years of the TR] were stamped RZM ReichZeugMeisterei, (National Equipment Quartermaster), which was a bureau for quality control and standardization for party issued gear.
There was also mid period marked daggers, generally referred to as "transitional" - These can has both RZM codes and makers mark.
The number code m7/14 simply is a code for a particular manufacturer, P.D. Luneschloss Solingen in this case.
Because early/mid daggers are usually superior in quality than later ones such as this, they are more desirable, and hence worth more $$.
Also, they tend not to be as corroded as the later ones, due to their use of better materials.
I wouldn't go so far as to say "don't buy it".
They are legitimate historical weapons, and have value.
I agree with the others, about $300 tops for this one, without seeing the scabbard its hard to say if even that.
Not sure if the blade is fake, as someone has suggested, because of the uncentered RZM.
Workmanship and quality were deteriorating at that point, due to the bad turn on the fighting fronts, and an uncentered logo is certainly not, in and of itself, an indication of a reproduction.
