Dress bajo with SS speach "Zur Erinn....Dienstzeit in der SS"

I know, the chance is minimal, that the speach is period done. The eagle doesnt belong to SS, letters are not very crisp.

I didnt found some references about SS speaches in the web, please give me your feelings.

The bajo itself is good, and I do not have more or better pics of it.

Fake etch

There does not seem to be anything wrong with the bayonet itself. However, unfortunately, the blade has been destroyed by a fake etch. Judging by the quality and look of the etching, it resembles those that came from the UK in the 80s and were put on K98s.

yes, I heart about these english adds, but never on dress bajos, and not with this speach. I saw some with "Leibstandarte ..."

Hmm

I have come across some fake etches like this similar to the style of the British fakes several times now. The templates are different, but fake nevertheless. If you have a look at a real, period etch, the difference hits your eyes very fast.

It is a shame to ruin a TR bayo with this crap.

the maker mark & handle look worn compared to the new etch

Logically is the etch a stupid and done by laic. They understand not the symbols of III.Reich, is shame to destroy under dress piece.
