I needed a HJ knife to complete a mannequin and since I am not a blade collector I had to read alot before buying it, because I found that there are plenty of fakes around. It would be good if we created a database of the known fakes around.
I will start with a knife which actually I bought for what it is for few dollars, because I thought it would have been a great letter opener.
Soon I will be able also to post an interesting piece, which I believe it's wrong too: it was formerly an original knife on which someone has stamped an extra Eickorn marking to make it more appealing. It doesn't belong to me so I have to ask permission to the owner,who is a friend of mine. Anyone have ever seen something like that? An original HJ knife with brushed markings and re-stamped?
