    Heer - comments please.

With the many fakes out there, I'm unsure if my only dagger is the real deal?
I bought it on ebay a few years ago, State side seller (a vet bring back I recall). Am I to go down in flames or perhaps it's legit? Any opinions please - warts & all.
    Ta.

It looks good to me, but were there cast lines on the pommels of these
Hollers? Lets see what others say

Yes, a good Holler, very nice condition too. I have no problems with the cast lines.

Nice Army dagger with a typical Holler crossguard.

                      Hi,
Just to add i had two mid period Holler army dagger's not too long ago and both had this casting seam on the pommel, so no problems with that one. Also i love seeing those patina shadows from the crossguard wreath on the scabbard.

I've changed my mind. It's 150% fake. I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands for destruction.

Seriously, nothing wrong with her at all. Nice Holler MM. Do a search through the archives for the repro Holler TM. Some are Solingen, some are Berlin, but all are terribl.

                            Hello guys,

With Heer daggers, is this particular maker considered rare, or more difficult to find than other makers? Where would it place on the "rarity scale" with all the various makers?

                            Thanks in advance,
                            Rob

Holler is a common maker for Heer daggers, nice example though...
