Looks nice all around. I'd grab it in a heartbeat for between 5-600. Pick up a nice police knot for the frog and you'd have a real looker.

Police Bayonet was made before 1936; as Eickhorn only used that style trademark in the early 1930's; through 1935.

Billy G is correct, that this type of bayonet was designed and introduced in the Weimar era. To be precise, the bayonet was authorized for the Prussian police in January of 1929. The order specified that all Prussian police were to be equipped with the bayonet by April 1930.

The six-sides sunburst crest with eagle on it was the crest of the state of Prussia, not the "Weimar" government. And as Billy G wrote, the III Reich Police wanted to shorten the bayonets and they were reworked in 1938/39 by shortening of blade, scabbard, grip and grip plates and removal of the Prussian clamshell. Your frog was produced earlier than the bayonet and may not be original to it.
