This one on fleaBay is new to me. I seriously doubt any serious collectors will be taken by this garbage. Perhaps only the folks who had bought one of those hideous lionheadesque sabers that have been around for about 6 years. Of course, this one like the lionhead junk comes from China.

Tom, I haven't seen it before either. The seller describes this as a "Vintage Russian Military Police Sword Saber WWII Old". It must be old. Look at all of the rust and pitting. He wouldn't lie to us would he??? Best Regards, FP

It's the 1st time i've seen it. I suspect these will be making the eBay rounds for the next few years.

If it weren't so expensive, i'd buy one as I need a new fireplace poker.

I believe this is how it's currently being listed THERE - The Chinese seller must've stumbled across quite a pile of these! Maybe Paulus' subordinates were sent to Manchuria instead of Siberia!
