My first RZM SA dagger

The SA dagger is one of my favorite edged weapon.
I've always collected early maker marked and never really had the opportunity to own an RZM type.
Neither was I really looking for one !
However, when I saw this SA in the "FOR SALE" classifieds, I was very much attracted by the double trademarks and its nearly perfect condition and decided to jump on it.
I must admit that I have stayed to long away from these RZM type SA's and will try and get some more.............the double trademarks that is.

That's a beauty K&M. A great piece of wood on that grip too.

Glad your on board with the transitional SA.
They are under rated and dismissed by many collectors. However they were only produced for a short time and very few companies "fought" the RZM edict and placed their logos defiantly next to the RZM. Known totals of transitional makers = 21. Know early SA makers = 251.

Some of the transitionals are just as hard to find as a rare maker SA.
They even have a rating system now for these transitionals 1 to 5. 5 being the rarest. Your K&M Pat as you already probably know is a 3. And one of the coolest looking maker logos of the line IMHO.
