Hi! Me interested your opinions! On the reversion on the blade and on the scabbard the makers is different and different years (42 crs and E. u. F. Horster 1937). Why in this pic, we see same numbers?

Having different marked baldes and scabbards is fairly common,I have a few myself.I have no problem with that at all.But the matching numbers has me stumped.It might be that the blade and scabbard were re-worked,mis-matched,and then re-numbered by an armorer.

Hello Oleg, it looks like the german armourer have reserialed the bard with the number of the bayonet, by Horster was used script letters on serial suffix, that means under 900g should be original number or it was armourer replacement bard.Andy from BCN
