Is that site a subsidiary of Eban? I'm surprised they're tolerating obvious swazs Interesting piece as an oddity, many of these fakes have developed a following of their own but the scary thing is that some will pay big money for them.

Someone already bid around 580 Euros for it, not winning though, i guess the seller aint happy with it....i wouldnt be suprised if it goes for 1000 euros...

You see these pieces on Eban every so often too. Sometimes they go higher than $1000. There's some that believe these pieces were period produced however between their overall construction & the lack of period photographs/documentation, I think it's highly doubtful.

I have come across a number of these, all of them at gun shows. To me they always seemed of very poor quality. They were discussed here: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=231130
It appears that some are relatively certain that they are in fact period. But even if they are, they are ugly enough that I would not want to own one.
