    HJ knife for opinion

    Hello,
I never post in this section but I need your help , I know nothing about knives!

A friend of mine and member here is looking to buy this knife, it looks good to him but one think seems weird: the seller stated that the HJ enameled logo don't move at all, is it normal for this maker?
i'll post pics for him (he's not an association member).

    Thanks for your help!

Hi not all daimond insignia have movement/wiggle a red flag would be if you seen evidence of the insignia being glued in but in this case with the Puma its totally fine looking to me with 70yrs of dirt & grime in the gap between the daimond & griplate the blade has seen some heavy sharpening but this is often the case with hj knifes......regards scott.

                    Hi

It does look like a legitimate HJ knife and I see no issues whatsoever aside from the sharpening. However, as Sweez said, this is often the case. Remeber that kids owned this.

                          Also...

I would also add that it is transitional piece, which makes it a bit more interesting to most collectors. I am sure your friend will be happy.
