help with KM dagger hangers

hello i want to buy a set of KM dagger hangers
but are the one with the brass fittings pre or post war ? i have a late war dagger

I think you'll find that the heavy brass fittings were used on the earlier hangers (may even be pre-war, as the hanger design didn't change).

I, not being a purist, might suggest you could pair up any hagners with your dagger, but the correct ones for your (later) dagger would probably be the ones with the lighter aluminum or pot-metal fittings.

thanks for the response i have found a nice set of alu-gold hangers they make a nice display with the KM dagger
