SA Maker, Eppstein?

I put a down payment on an SA/group today. Maker, Epstein?, (something like that.) No Gau #, not a RMZ. Just wondering if I'm on course here?, as I haven't seen this maker. Thanks for ANY input. I will post my group when I pay it off. Cheers, Paul

Could be C. Eppenstein Sohne, Solingen. Fairly scarce maker and usually Gruppe marked Wm or Ho.

Thank you Russel! you were right on. I picked up my C. Eppenstein/Sohne Solingen Gau marked "Ho" today! I'll post some pics when I can. Until then..??? The tang has an "A" over the number "24" The small guard has the letters, "E" and "W". How common is this one?/Do these features mesh? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Pauli
